DIY Ribbon American Flag

First. you will need one spool of red and one spool of white 7/8" solid grosgrain ribbon. Next, grab a spool of our 7/8" patriotic stars ribbon on dark royal. Then you will need a strip of 1.5" white solid grosgrain ribbon. The length depends on how large you want your flag to be!

 

Now we can begin! Start by cutting strips of red and white ribbon. As mentioned earlier, the length and number of strips depends on how large you want your flag! 

 

Next, start gluing your strips of ribbon close to the middle of your 1.5" ribbon strip until you get to the end! You can add several layers for an added thickness to your flag.

 

Lastly, Glue your star ribbon on the top right corner using shorter pieces. Fold over the other half of the ribbon and glue together. And you're done!
