What You’ll Need
-
32" of Frayed Velvet ribbon (1.5" inches wide works best)
-
Clip of choice
-
Hot glue gun
-
Scissors
1. Cut Your Ribbon
Cut off about 32" of frayed velvet ribbon. This is totally up to you and your desired tail length! We found it easiest to tie the bow with at least 24" of ribbon.
2. Tie Your Bow
Holding 1/4 of the length of your ribbon (good side facing towards you), wrap the longer side around the front. We did this by holding out two fingers with the shorter part facing forward.

Then, holding the intersection of the two pieces in place with your thumb, bring the longer end back around. Make a loop and pull the loop through the center.

Grab your two loops (if you wrapped the ribbon around your fingers, the loops will be the first one in the line as well as the one you just pulled through the center).

Pull tight to secure and adjust the center! We turned our finished bow around (clip-side facing up) and secured the center from the back by sticking a hot glue gun in the knot and placing a dot of glue. This was just to ensure the bow holds form!
3. Attach Your Clip
Attach your clip of choice to the back with hot glue and hold in place to secure.

And just like that, you're finished! ✨
